Morning Session Lyrics

Great Things

Come let us worship our King
Come let us bow at His feet
He has done great things
See what our Savior has done
See how His love overcomes
He has done great things
He has done great things

O Hero of Heaven You conquered the grave
You free every captive and break every chain
O God You have done great things
We dance in Your freedom awake and alive
O Jesus our Savior Your name lifted high
O God You have done great things

You’ve been faithful through every storm
You’ll be faithful forevermore
You have done great things
And I know You will do it again
For Your promise is yes and amen
You will do great things
God You do great things

O Hero of Heaven You conquered the grave
You free every captive and break every chain
O God You have done great things
We dance in Your freedom awake and alive
O Jesus our Savior Your name lifted high
O God You have done great things

Hallelujah God above it all
Hallelujah God unshakable
Hallelujah You have done great things

Hallelujah God above it all
Hallelujah God unshakable
Hallelujah You have done great things

O Hero of Heaven You conquered the grave
You free every captive and break every chain
O God You have done great things
We dance in Your freedom awake and alive
O Jesus our Savior Your name lifted high
O God You have done great things

God is For Us

We won’t fear the battle
We won’t fear the night
We will walk the Valley with You by our side
You will go before us
You will lead the way
We have found a refuge only You can save

Sing with joy now our God is for us
The Father’s love is a strong and mighty fortress
Raise your voice now no love is greater
Who can stand against us if our God is for us

Even when I stumble
Even when I fall
Even when I turn back still Your love is sure
You will not abandon
You will not forsake
You will cheer me onward with never ending grace

Sing with joy now our God is for us
The Father’s love is a strong and mighty fortress
Raise your voice now no love is greater
Who can stand against us if our God is for us

Neither height nor depth can separate us
Hell and death will not defeat us
He who gave His Son to free us
Holds me in His love

Neither height nor depth can separate us
Hell and death will not defeat us
He who gave His Son to free us
Holds me in His love

Sing with joy now our God is for us
The Father’s love is a strong and mighty fortress
Raise your voice now no love is greater
Who can stand against us if our God is for us

Grace Alone

I was an orphan lost at the fall
Running away when I’d hear You call
But Father You worked Your will
I had no righteousness of my own
I had no right to draw near Your throne
But Father You loved me still

And in love before You laid the world’s foundation
You predestined to adopt me as Your own
You have raised me up so high above my station
I’m a child of God by grace and grace alone

You left Your home to seek out the lost
You knew the great and terrible cost
But Jesus Your face was set
I worked my fingers down to the bone
But nothing I did could ever atone
But Jesus You paid my debt

By Your blood I have redemption and salvation
Lord You died that I might reap what You have sown
And You rose that I might be a new creation
I am born again by grace and grace along

I was darkness all of my life
I never knew the day from the night
But Spirit You made me see
I swore I knew the way on my own
Head full of rocks a heart made of stone
But Spirit You moved in me
And at your touch my sleeping spirit was awakened
On my darkened heart the light of Christ has shone
Called into a kingdom that cannot be shaken
Heaven’s citizen by grace and grace alone

So I’ll stand in faith by grace and grace alone
I will run the race by grace and grace alone
I will slay my sin by grace and grace alone
I will reach the end by grace and grace alone

Great Are You Lord

You give life You are love
You bring light to the darkness
You give hope You restore every heart that is broken
And great are You Lord

It’s Your breath in our lungs
So we pour out our praise
We pour out our praise
It’s Your breath in our lungs
So we pour out our praise to You only

You give life You are love
You bring light to the darkness
You give hope You restore every heart that is broken
And great are You Lord

It’s Your breath in our lungs
So we pour out our praise
We pour out our praise
It’s Your breath in our lungs
So we pour out our praise to You only

And all the earth will shout Your praise
Our hearts will cry these bones will sing
Great are You Lord
And all the earth will shout Your praise
Our hearts will cry these bones will sing
Great are You Lord
And all the earth will shout Your praise
Our hearts will cry these bones will sing
Great are You Lord

It’s Your breath in our lungs
So we pour out our praise
We pour out our praise
It’s Your breath in our lungs
So we pour out our praise to You only

Anthem

So many reasons too many to count
To say that I love You to worship You now
Your love is perfect and Your heart is kind
I’m Yours forever forever You’re mine

Jesus the anthem of my heart
Jesus the anchor of my soul
I’m overwhelmed by all You are
Oh how I love You

You call me beloved and You call me friend
Your grace says I’m worthy You welcome me in
Now all that I long for and all that I need
Is to be in Your presence
Forever I fall at Your feet

Jesus the anthem of my heart
Jesus the anchor of my soul
I’m overwhelmed by all You are
Oh how I love You

Faithful to the end God You are always good
Where do I begin
There’s so many reasons to love You
Your promise never breaks Your beauty never fades
What else can I say
There’s so many reasons to love You

Oh there’s so many reasons to love You, Oh

Jesus the anthem of my heart
Jesus the anchor of my soul
I’m overwhelmed by all You are
Oh how I love You

Jesus the anthem of my heart
Jesus the anchor of my soul
I’m overwhelmed by all You are
Oh how I love You

I’m overwhelmed by all You are
Oh how I love You
I’m overwhelmed by all You are
Oh how I love You

Afternoon Session

Afternoon Session Lyrics

Only You

You have known my every situation
And Your goodness sustains me Lord
I will bow in humble expectation
Of Your presence in the storm

Yes there will be trial and tribulation
And You’ll grant me breath to persevere
May my heart beat in pure anticipation
Of the day You’ll dry these tears

Only You have set the earth on its foundation
Only You give orders to the dawn
Only You can know the depths of every ocean
Only You deserve our song

Lord You are the thunder to my whisper
Yes Your greatness knows no bounds
All these things too wonderful to speak of
Fill my soul with a heavenly sound
Only You have set the earth on its foundation
Only You give orders to the dawn
Only You can know the depths of every ocean
Only You deserve our song
Only You have torn the cover off the darkness
You expose the evils of the night
Only You reveal Your glory to the humble
Only You are clothed in light

Only You
Only You

Here I am in the valley of decision
I know You hear me when I call
I repent of my prideful disposition
Where was I when the stars sang out

His Mercy is More

What love could remember no wrongs we have done
Omniscient all knowing He counts not their sum
Thrown into a sea without bottom or shore
Our sins they are many His mercy is more

Praise the Lord His mercy is more
Stronger than darkness new every morn
Our sins they are many His mercy is more

What patience would wait as we constantly roam
What Father so tender is calling us home
He welcomes the weakest the vilest the poor
Our sins they are many His mercy is more

Praise the Lord His mercy is more
Stronger than darkness new every morn
Our sins they are many His mercy is more

What riches of kindness He lavished on us
His blood was the payment His life was the cost
We stood ‘neath a debt we could never afford
Our sins they are many His mercy is more

Praise the Lord His mercy is more
Stronger than darkness new every morn
Our sins they are many His mercy is more
Praise the Lord His mercy is more
Stronger than darkness new every morn
Our sins they are many His mercy is more

Build My Life

Worthy of ev’ry song we could ever sing
Worthy of all the praise we could ever bring
Worthy of ev’ry breath we could ever breathe
We live for You

Jesus the name above every other name
Jesus the only one who could ever save
Worthy of ev’ry breath we could ever breathe
We live for You
We live for You

Holy there is no one like You
There is none besides You
Open up my eyes in wonder and show me who You are
And fill me with Your heart
And lead me in Your love to those around me

Worthy of ev’ry song we could ever sing
Worthy of all the praise we could ever bring
Worthy of ev’ry breath we could ever breathe
We live for You

Jesus the name above every other name
Jesus the only one who could ever save
Worthy of ev’ry breath we could ever breathe
We live for You
We live for You

Holy there is no one like You
There is none besides You
Open up my eyes in wonder and show me who You are
And fill me with Your heart
And lead me in Your love to those around me

I will build my life upon Your love
It is a firm foundation
I will put my trust in You alone
And I will not be shaken

I will build my life upon Your love
It is a firm foundation
I will put my trust in You alone
And I will not be shaken

Holy there is no one like You
There is none besides You
Open up my eyes in wonder and show me who You are
And fill me with Your heart
And lead me in Your love to those around me

Discussion Questions for After the Second Talk

In the metaphor, the way life works best is for Christ to be the Sun at the center, holding all the elements of our life in their proper orbit. Does this describe your life? If you would be willing to share, what are some parts of your life that have too much or too little mass and pull? What do your heart and desires internally revolve around? If someone looked at your life, what would they say your life revolves around?

Can you think of any examples of groups or situations where one of the three important pillars is missing? What does it look like when gospel and community are present, but not mission? How about gospel and mission, but no community? How about a group that has good community and a mission, but the gospel is absent?

What is a good next step for you as you pursue living a life that treasures and rehearses the gospel daily?

What is a good next step for you in your pursuit of Christ-honoring, challenging, holiness-pursuing, Christian friendships?

What could it look like for you to take the next right step on mission in your life to those around you?

Who can you bring into the journey with you as you take next steps in these three areas? You’ll need someone to encourage you, remind you of Biblical truth, and hold you accountable to taking steps of faith?

Almost never again in life will you have precious, free summers, with no family of your own or job commitments. Would you be willing to open your hand regarding next summer and give all or most of your summer to the Lord to develop you and work through you on a summer mission; or if you’ll be graduating next May, would you consider giving the Lord your next year or two through a Cru intenship, or an international STINT? Why or why not?

When we head home for the summer (or wherever you’ll be!), it’s easy to passively slip into old patterns and habits and attitudes, and then faith can grow stagnant, like a muscle that atrophies. How can you intentionally fight against this and instead exercise your faith and “put on the new self” each day this summer?
